Main duties of the job

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has excellent management, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The post holder will be accountable to the Flying Start Service Coordinator. You will represent Wrexham Flying Start at a North Wales and All Wales level and work closely with the universal Health Visiting service both at management and practitioner levels. You will provide operational management to all health employed staff within the team and oversee the delivery of the Health element of the Flying Start service on a day to day basis. This will include monitoring sickness/absence, and undertaking absence reviews and performance reviews along with other managerial duties. You will provide regular clinical supervision and support to staff to ensure safe and best practice that meets professional requirements.
