Student Complaints, Conduct and Funding has an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional to join our team. This newly formulated department shares a common aim of enhancing the student experience through effective casework and proactively seeking resolutions to the matter at hand, via our published procedures and regulations.

You will be an experienced professional in these areas with good levels of experience of both complex and sensitive cases. You will have the skills and ability to write accurately and with high levels of attention to detail. The successful applicant will have the unique opportunity to develop professionally and broaden/deepen their knowledge across a range of diverse portfolios. These include:

  • Student Complaints
  • Liaison with the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA)
  • Student Discipline
  • Exceptional Circumstances and Academic Appeals
  • Student Funding
  • The Student Casework Manager (Complaints and Conduct) will provide effective management of all casework regarding student complaints, student discipline and OIA liaison (for complaints and discipline) using a risk-based approach. This will include managing and providing guidance for the delivery of compliant investigations within cases that reflect good-practice (in these areas) and enhances user experience. Sound judgement, diplomacy and an ability to deliver in a busy/fast-paced environment is key. This post will also provide management support to other areas of the department where appropriate/necessary.
