As the Workday Reporting Lead, you will help to drive our Workday system to the next level by continuing to expand our reporting, dashboard, and analytics footprint. In this role you will have the opportunity to partner with business teams, to understand functional requirements and deliver complex reporting solutions, as well as ongoing support and development of our reporting resources.

Reporting into the Head of People Operational Excellence, you will provide your expertise to help plan, design, test and embed the Reporting function of Workday whilst identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Workday HCM functionality and subject matter expertise within Workday Report Writer.

What will you be doing?

  • Engage directly across Ocado People function Business Areas to identify and deliver robust reporting requirements
  • Identify and lead the delivery of continuous improvement within Ocado’s People systems through constant and regular review of reporting requirements to ensure a best in class service, with a particular focus on Reporting in Workday
  • Continually review the reporting suite to ensure it remains efficient, effective and fit for purpose
  • Engage with Group IT to ensure updates/changes to reporting in line with Workday 6 monthly releases
  • Assist with testing, validation and implementation of Business Process changes in Workday
  • Support Project Teams in the development of reporting needs for new modules and functionality
  • Understand People Function challenges and identify solutions within our HR platforms
  • Use data to build a case for change
  • Understand business strategy
  • Liaise with, advise and influence all relevant areas within Ocado
  • Support knowledge transfer within people systems and Business Area reporting teams, particularlyReporting Workday
  • Run and participate in projects as required

About you

  • Previous experience of Workday / HR Systems reporting
  • A strong analytical background with knowledge of common insight applications
  • Knowledge of HR Software support preferred
  • A keen eye for process improvement
  • Experience of working in a project environment
  • Interaction skills – ability to work as part of a larger team
  • Clear communicator able to present & challenge ideas/requirements, drive decisions and document solutions
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
