Senior Linux Administrator
Hybrid working, 2 days a week on site in Cambridge

We are looking for someone to join our team, We have number of Linux based appliance tasks/short project that requires to be upgraded. The requirement would be to meet with the IT Manager at least once a week to ensure we are on target. Documentation of the work performed and how to is essential.
The IT infrastructure involves both Linux and Window platform, including majority of our services are running on the vitalised VMWare platform.
We have also started using the Public cloud Amazon Web Services (AWS) for some of the services that can be hosted on the cloud as single services.
Technologies Required Experience:
Linux/Ubuntu/Debian/
NAS NetApp Storage/other storage systems
OS Installation and Maintenance for Linux Platforms
VMware platform experience
Apache/Server Installation to host appliances example Rstudio.
AWS
Shell Scripting – Bash
TCP/IP Network Knowledge
The key project upgrades that the candidate would need to have experience is LDAP/SSSD Authentication.
Other desirables would be monitoring systems like Nagios,
Linux Management Software like SALT.
