Your new company
Hays are currently working with a rapidly expanding organisation in Worcester as they look to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Due to significant growth in recent years, the company continues to go from strength to strength with further growth anticipated over the next 12 months.
Your new role
In this newly created role, you will work with the Finance Business Partner and Commercial Director in providing key financial support and analysis to help drive business performance.
Main duties:
Produce timely and accurate management accounts with supporting analysis
Prepare monthly analytics for different regional units
Prepare quarterly regional analytics for inclusion in Board pack
Ensure balance sheet is reconciled for all operational accruals/prepayments/income
Review unit level reporting on a monthly basis to identify variances
Support Operations Managers during the monthly review and approve process with invoice sign off
Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Attend site visits where required to review financial performance
Attend mobilisations of new business units to support financial set up and training
What you’ll need to succeed
ACCA/CIMA studier actively studying towards completion of your qualification
Comprehensive understanding of financial processes and procedures
Experience in preparing management accounts
Capacity to deal with different business models
Capable of embracing change in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable liaising with internal/external stakeholders and senior management
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient user of MS Excel and accounting packages (SAP an advantage)
