Your new company

You will be working with a leading Chartered Accountancy Firm, offering Assurance, Tax, Transaction and Advisory Services across the globe. Innovative and forward-thinking, the firm invests in developing products, expertise and systems/technology to ensure the delivery of high quality service. This culture includes giving its employees the training, opportunities and creative freedom to make improvements and provide creative solutions to clients. Indeed, over the course of 2018, 20 individuals within the Scottish Tax Team were promoted. Given the level of investment and strong client demand, the firm would like to make an addition to their Private Client Department at Manager level. The Team works with a wide range of clients, inclusive of family businesses, entrepreneurs, landed estates, partnerships, high-profile individuals, and private equity and hedge fund principals. Given the firm’s international network, this also substantially encompasses cross-border tax.

Your new role

Working with a great variety of clients, you will build and maintain relationships as a key point of contact. You will manage the successful provision of complex advisory projects, which may include consulting on residence and domicile issues, transaction and reorganisation and optimisation of wealth, as well as estate and inheritance planning. As an Assistant Manager you will also supervise and develop more junior staff members, inclusive of work delegation and reviewing of both advisory and more complex compliance.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will have a proven track record within Personal Tax, with experience in advising UK and non-UK domiciled individuals, and hold a relevant qualification (ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA, CA). You will be customer focused with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Further to this, you will have strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills. An enthusiastic and motivate team, you will match these characteristics and offer good leadership skills
