Medical Records Officer

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Medical Records Officer to join our friendly team at One Ashford Hospital.

Reporting to the Patient Administration Manager, the successful Medical Records Officer will be responsible for:

• Creating new clinical records and retrieving existing clinical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents

• Ensuring clinical records are available for in-patients, day surgery and outpatient clinics

• Inputting and recording locations to computer and diary systems

• Delivering and archiving of records

• Daily filing of all miscellaneous reports, letters etc.

Hours: 37.5 per week. Flexible shifts between 07:30 and 19:30, Monday to Friday.

Salary: Dependent on skillset and experience

Qualifications

• GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

• Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment.
