The Martech Manager is a new role in Octopus Investments, created to support the delivery and adoption of a new integrated Sales & Marketing tech stack. The role will also be responsible for using data and reporting to drive meaningful insights and improved marketing efficiency. With a growing team of over 40 marketing professionals working alongside a sales force of over 100 people the integrated Dynamics Martech Stack is critical to our everyday performance and future growth. This role will play a pivotal role in the journey to develop, roll out and drive continuous improvement through Dynamics. There’s huge potential for a successful individual to make a big business impact through simplifying and automating everyday work, modernising our marketing processes and exploiting the performance insights that a well-managed Martech stack can enable.

The immediate business priority is completing the delivery of the Microsoft Dynamics system. The Martech Manager will be at the heart of the project team, working with business stakeholders, project management and technology teams. With a summer MVP launch date, the role will switch quickly into user support and adoption, helping business users move quickly and effectively onto the new system and helping the tech teams continue its development to support more processes. Beyond that, the Martech Manager will be responsible for driving the business towards a full suite of integrated marketing tools (On24 webinar platform, WordPress Gutenberg platform, Seismic, etc.) and ensuring we’re continuously getting more value from the systems and how we use them.

What you’ll do:

  • Implement Microsoft Dynamics as part of a project team
  • Support business targets by creating and managing automation programs
  • Manage marketing technology systems including marketing automation, sales enablement, data generation and reporting
  • Identify new trends in marketing operations, evaluate and recommend new technologies for implementation as well as optimising existing
  • Optimise and manage marketing data – contribute towards data roadmap, marketing/sales/lead scoring models, reporting strategy
  • Analysis of marketing activity to increase pipeline contribution
  • Direct interface and trusted consultant for marketing, sales operations, data & insights and data engineering team members
