About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working with colleagues from our global Technology organization. Working collaboratively, you’ll be delivering shared solutions for infrastructure operations across our products and services. You be key to developing our Centre of Excellence by innovating ways to automate, optimize and increase availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring optimal construction and implementation of our CI/CD pipelines to help deliver continual code updates and improvements

• Collaborating within agile dev squads to deliver continuous improvements for customer outcomes

• Designing and authoring soft infrastructure assets using IaC best practices to ensure reliability and performance

• Operating and maintaining software systems across the full breadth of the SDLC to ensure stability

• Providing effective solutions through the applied integration of infrastructure, software and best practices

Requirements

• Have extensive DevOps experience with large, multi-product cloud-based environment such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

• Understanding of storage systems, Linux kernel, UNIX kernel, UNIX file system, and Windows infrastructure.

• Program installation and troubleshooting.

• 2 years practical experience with AWS cloud (certification is a +).

• Show expert experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools such as Terraform

• Have experience of authoring CI/CD pipelines and automation elements related to infrastructure composition, deployment orchestration and monitoring – Deep understanding of CI/CD processes. Experience in Jenkins pipeline setup (JcasC is a +).

• Demonstrate knowledge of deploying configuration management via Ansible, Puppet or Chef

• Have experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in setting up, configuring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.

• Advanced understanding of system and problem management tools.

• Knowledge of system recovery procedures.

• Experience with Central Logging solution.

• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal, communication and presentation skills including articulating technical concepts to a range of audiences

• Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and to solve problems through innovation
