Job Description:

As the Incubator you’ll design and execute on innovation and acceleration initiatives within the group innovation portfolio. You’ll collaborate with the Principal Incubator in the implementation of the models, testing frameworks, tools and processes that will enhance and speed up the process in which new initiatives will be tested and validated. These methods and learnings will also serve as key inputs into embedding the new ways of working to sustain continuous innovation.

Responsibilities are as follows;

  • Collaborate with key functions and business units to identify innovation opportunities for inclusion in the group innovation portfolio
  • Implement the innovation models and processes and procedures that underpin and support the delivery of initiatives in the innovation portfolio
  • Contribute toward the design and refinement of the innovation tools and frameworks
  • Coordinate and facilitate innovation initiatives through the innovation create, test and scale stages
  • Facilitate design and agile sprints 
  • Prepare initiative teams for pitching their ideas and test plans to secure funding 
  • Assist initiative teams in designing test plans and measuring success criteria 
  • Build commercial model scenarios that can be used to assess business model unit economics and viability

    • Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Qualified supported by demonstrated track record of driving innovation programmes/projects; a relevant Post Graduate Degree may be advantageous. 
  • Experiment design and tracking
  • Facilitating agile and design thinking style workshops
  • Business model design
  • Project management
  • Previous experience in a start-up/incubator/accelerator advantageous
  • Experience in technology platforms, AI, data analytics, social media testing advantageous
  • The Business Model Canvas and its associated frameworks
  • The Lean Start Up theories and practices
