Due to restructuring and expansion of the team, they are now recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing finance team.
Role
The Accounts Payable Assistant for this consultancy business, based in east London (E14), will take on a number of key duties including:
- Check the finance inbox regularly to ensure documents are processed correctly
- Code, process and input supplier invoices and employee expenses
- Set up new supplier and employee accounts
- Prepare weekly payment runs in multiple currencies and post payments
- Ensure accounts payable records are filed correctly and efficiently
- Assist with month/year-end procedures
- Provide additional analysis and reconciling of general ledger accounts
Profile
The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Assistant role should have the following profile:
- 2+ years of experience within Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exposure to month-end procedures and understanding of double-entry accounting
- Good understanding of Excel
- Experience with Dynamics 365 would be highly beneficial
Salary & Benefits
£28,000 to £32,000 plus benefits including:
