Background

We are seeking a Windows Services Engineer to provide 2nd/3rd line support across many of the Microsoft Server and ancillary products/services such as AD, ADFS, DNS, SQL etc. You will be dealing with external supplies/service providers over faults. You will provide detailed technical knowledge on a range of core service-delivery systems, including basic Windows Server operations, backup, patching, databases and ancillary Microsoft products/services

Other responsibilities include deploying, configuring, operating, assisting ongoing documenting and migrating servers running Microsoft Windows Server and assisting automating processes and procedures where applicable.

Responsibilities

You will have experience in maintaining Windows services together with associated Microsoft software and have worked in a customer facing support role and has managed services which have been externally hosted or operated.

You will also have good interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
