Here at Protocol, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Primary Intervention Teacher to join our supply teaching team and to work within our network of schools, that we are in contact with, across the Teesside region (specifically Stockton and Hartlepool). 

We work with schools right the way across Middlesbrough, Recar, Clevland, Stockton, Hartlepool, Darlington and County Durham. We offer amazing Supply Staff, such as yourself, and pair them to the schools which are need of your unique skillset! This can be done on a short term or long term basis and we can offer full-time or part-time work.

As an intervention teacher, you will be working with small groups of ks2 children, and will be offering them support when needed in the classroom, so the ideal candidate must have the following skills:

The ideal candidate

  • Relevant qualifications such as QTS
  • Good numeracy, reading and writing skills
  • Ability to teach 1:1 and help the students and teacher in any way that is needed
  • Must possess excellent classroom management skills
  • Be willing to learn new skills
  • Must be energentic (the students will thank you for it)
  • Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Can provide references covering the last 3 years
