Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to masters level or equivalent level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.In depth additional expert knowledge acquired over a significant period of time in the following areas Planning and commissioning expertise in a healthcare environment proven track record in transferring processes and roles between locations and organisations awareness of relevant public and private sector business management best practice strategy development for operational intelligence and alignment of information processes across the systemSubject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to the flow of data to support and improve the ability to make decisions on the commissioning of services for patients, including: NHS intelligence and information systems including NHS Data, data flows and quality, data reporting and presentation, performance, data management processes and systems, contract management processes and information governance System specifications and development of working technical solutions Knowledge & experience Essential criteria Proven and significant leadership experience and/or formal management qualification.Ability and experience to create teams as well as motivating and inspiring staff to work together to achieve a common objective Skills & capabilities Essential criteria Strong external communications skills in a politically sensitive environment and experience in handling media Communication skills Essential criteria Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required Analytical skills Essential criteria Demonstrated capability to act upon incomplete information, using experience to make inferences and decision making Equality & Diversity Essential criteria Values diversity and difference, operates with integrity and openness
