Robert Half are pleased to be partnered with a Leeds city centre global financial services business to recruit for a Finance Manager for a period of 12 months. This position will manage a small team of 4 looking after revenue and recognition. This position offers hybrid working with offices close to excellent transport links in Leeds centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility of revenue accounting
  • Management of the accounting for revenue generating projects
  • Ownership of Revenue SOX controls adherence and reporting
  • Commercial acumen to influence contract structure and negotiations
  • Management of the sales contract review process and input into customer opportunities and contracts
  • Support the FP&A team in forecasting and budgeting
  • Involvement with, and occasional leadership of, multi-functional projects and business initiatives beyond the revenue department

Person Profile:

  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • US-GAAP would be an advantage
  • Excel
  • Person with a can do attitude
  • Confident in presenting numbers to an audience.
  • Has managed people before and the demands of month end timetables.
  • Ability to challenge stakeholders and numbers being presented
