Randstad Education are looking for teaching assistants that occupy a strong work ethic and the ability to work within a fast paced environment for the course of the academic year. A successful candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking and keen to provide support to a variety of children. You will be working towards establishing an inclusive learning environment where you will offer 1-1 support, lead intervention classes and co-operate with teachers to get the best out of the class.

At the moment, we have an array of opportunities located in the Rochdale area. These vacancies surround sub sectors such as Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs, where you will be working with different academic levels in the hope of developing them and supporting them towards the next stage in their education journey. The schools that we work with at Randstad are incredibly populated and require a huge amount of reliability and independence in some parts in order to provide the best possible experience for the class.

  • Experience of working with and alongside children
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service OR the willingness to obtain one
  • The ability to adapt and provide a tailored approach to a variety of children’s needs
  • A strong work ethic and passion to develop children
  • Responsibilities for the role:

  • Ensuring that children stay on task and are focused on their learning objectives
  • Liaising with other teachers and parents in order to provide the best possible support
  • Assisting the teacher in structuring engaging lessons
  • Aiding the teacher with classroom displays
