The Role

  • A successful and reputable organisation based in Minworth are looking for a new member to join their successful and friendly team as a Logistics Coordinator.

    Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the exports/imports team, supporting with Air, Road and Sea Freight
  • Organise shipping documents, and book in the jobs on specialist IT system
  • Liaising with customers to coordinate/update on shipments
  • Dealing with all customs clearance documentation
  • Obtain quotations from both domestic and overseas suppliers/agents
  • Customs clearance entry
  • Answer telephone and Email correspondence
  • Checking and raising invoice
  • Obtaining prices from shipping lines/airlines and NVOCC’s
  • Quoting customers and making bookings
  • Raising and processing shipping documentation
  • Arranging collections and deliveries
  • Completing all freight administration and billing out files
  • Speaking with Customers, Airlines, Shipping Lines and Hauliers
  • Completing Export Customs Declarations Experience
  • Requirements (Essential)

  • Must have experience in Exports and Imports
  • Understanding of customs declarations and relevant documentation
  • Excellent administration and communication skills
  • IT literate (all Microsoft Applications)
  • Ability work as part of a small team
  • Meticulous attention to detail
