Become a Senior Site Manager of a brand new residential project within the Bedford area. The scheme consists of a traditional build development of 1000+ units, entailing six phases of 150+ units each, consisting of 3-5 bedroom houses. You will manage one of these six phases.

Duties

  • Be on site reporting to Project Manager
  • Be responsible for full on-site team, subcontractors, trades and labour
  • Work with quantity surveyor to ensure cost and planning is done correctly
  • Give clear direction to on-site team to ensure targets are met and project is delivered efficiently
  • Manage day-to-day operations ensuring it is in accordance with specifications and build programme
  • Responsible for all H&S on site
  • Provide and check reports on progression
  • Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
  • Ensure development passes internal and external inspections
  • Ensuring development passes NHBC practices
  • Monitor and control quality of production
  • Ensure completion of remedial work prior to occupation
  • Ensure customer service is held at the highest priority

  • Qualifications

  • Experience running residential construction projects
  • New build, residential experience
  • Must have timber frame knowledge
  • SMSTS, CSCS – Black
  • First Aid
  • Scaffold awareness
