of products, including chemicals, construction chemicals, agricultural solutions, dispersions and pigments, pest control solutions, plastics,
polyurethanes systems, leading edge coating products, mining and water treatment chemicals. We manufacture performance chemicals,
polyurethane systems and pest control solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you can expect:

  • You will manage and be responsible for customers in the UK for BTC Europe. This includes being responsible for sales, pricing and profitability.
  • Moreover, you will analyse decision-making processes by your customer and manage contacts at various levels within the respective customer organisations.
  • You will identify business potentials (including cross selling of products from the BTC portfolio, but also with other BASF business units) and leverage at existing and new accounts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities at your customers, gathering such information and using it to develop opportunities for growth.
  • In addition you will propose and collaborate in joint projects, e.g. development projects with customers, logistic concepts, and projects within BTC, etc.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    What we expect:

  • The successful candidate should ideally be educated to degree level, preferably in a business or science related subject and will have an aptitude for people, products and customers.
  • Knowledge in Chemical industry would be a strong advantage.
  • The candidate should ideally have a number of commercial years’ experience.
  • We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated individual, who is extremely customer-focused and has first class negotiation, decision making and communication skills.
  • A full driving licence is required as this role will involve a significant amount of travel within the UK and Ireland areas.
