We are seeking a Children’s Home Registered Manager for a children’s home in Staffordshire

The homes care and support children and young people who present emotional and behavioural difficulties and complex needs between the ages of 7 – 17 years. A salary of £30,000 – £42,000 dependent on experience plus bonus is being offered for a Registered Manager in the Staffordshire area

Your duties and responsibilities will include
Being responsible for the day to day running of the residential home, ensuring that the home is of a high standard at all times
Ensuring that all duties completed by staff are performed to a required standard and that staff contribute to a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the home
Managing the home to an Outstanding standard with Ofsted
Liaising with local authorities to develop individual Care Plans
Supervising and supporting employees to provide the best care
Work with Human Resources to assist with recruitment and manage all employee relations within the home
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the home goes over and above in providing exceptional care

For this exciting but challenging role the ideal candidate must
Have at least 2 years experience of working in a senior capacity ideally as a registered manager.
Hold an NVQ3 in Children and young people or the equivalent qualification
Level 5 diploma in leadership and management for Residential Childcare or equivalent or are working towards the qualification
Have experience and a good understanding of supporting children and young people in a residential setting.
Work well under pressure, able to prioritise and meet deadlines, have a methodical approach
Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and young people
Full UK Driving licence
