  • Responsibilities:

    If you’d want to work as a KS2 teacher in an “Outstanding” school, you’ll be required to:

  • Plan lessons that draw on prior learning, stretch learners and are engaging in all required subjects for KS2
  • Deliver hands-on lessons that will motivate students in your classroom in KS2
  • Monitor progress in your classroom by including formative assessments as well as summative assessments on a frequent basis to determine where misconceptions are and being able to address them
  • Hosting parents evenings to liaise effectively with parents in regards to student behaviour, achievement and attendance
  • Using the behaviour management policy effectively to be able to promote a productive learning environment for all
  • Liaise with SLT in regards to the pupils in your classroom as and where required
  • Take part in CPD sessions, staff meetings as well as key stage/year group meetings where needed
  • Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Relevant teaching experience in KS2
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Enthusiasm
  • Passion for education
  • Strong subject and curriculum knowledge
