About the Role:

As Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will work on understanding the diversity of reproduction and how it affect genome evolution at scale. This will include contributing to the development of the novel approach to capture reproductively-relevant information from sequencing data as well as analysis of large scale genomic datasets produced by Tree of Life programme.

About You:

Two positions are available for engaged, excited and driven postdoctoral researchers to join the group to shape and deliver the science outlined above. We are looking for collaborative candidates with computational, genomics and reproductive genetics expertise who want to use the power of reference genomics to change the way we think about and analyse evolutionary questions. There will be opportunities to bring new systems and approaches to the group, and to build wide-ranging collaborations within the Tree of Life programme and the wider biodiversity and evolutionary genomics communities.

We aim to attract, recruit, retain and develop talent from the widest possible talent pool, thereby gaining insight and access to different markets to generate a greater impact on the world. We have a supportive culture with the following staff networks, LGBTQ+, Parents and Carers and Race Equity to bring people together to share experiences, offer specific support and development opportunities and raise awareness. The networks are also a place for allies to provide support to others
