An exciting opportunity to join the Facilities team as a Facilities Monitoring Officer.
In accordance with nationally agreed standards, you will conduct hospital cleanliness audits within clinical and non-clinical areas across the Trust. You will promote safe standards of cleanliness, compliance and encourage quality improvements where identified.
In addition, you will be responsible for the annual co-ordination and delivery of the Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE) inspection, providing individualised action plans as required.
This role will require a highly motivated individual who is able to organise and manage their workload in an effective manner to ensure work is completed within agreed timescales. The ability to prioritise workload and communicate with staff at various levels will be an essential skill required for this role.
Main duties of the job
To provide management support and assist in the development and delivery of a professional customer focused Soft Facilities Service with the Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust, to meet the organisational objectives and requirements of the customers, staff, patients
and visitors.
To lead on specific aspects of day to day facilities services to include; Cleaning Services, Catering Services, Security, Waste services, NEPT etc., undertake minor projects within agreed financial framework, drive quality and performance standards through auditing to provide a customer focused, cost effective and efficient Facilities Service.
