IT Support Engineer

Wakefield, Up to £28,

Mon – Fri, 9AM – 5PM

A great opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer to join a IT outsource business. This company have seen significant growth over the last year, and are now looking to expand their IT team, with an IT Support Engineer to support their client’s IT requirements.

What you will be doing:

  • Working unaided on remote sites to assist with client requirements
  • Build a relationship with our customers ensuring all of their IT needs are identified and met
  • Provide front line telephone support
  • Building Bespoke PC and Servers ready for deployment
  • Server configuration and management
  • Infrastructure implementation (Microsoft Server, On-premise/Migration to the cloud)
  • Core Networking Installations
  • Remote desktop configurations
  • Worked with a MSP before
  • They are looking for:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Server and Workstation Deployment and Group Policy
  • Microsoft Office and Cloud Storage including Azure/OneDrive and SharePoint
  • Microsoft Exchange from onwards
  • Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
  • Experience with Netgear Switches/Draytek Routers
  • Understand networking and architecture
  • Working in a IT Support environment
  • Helpdesk Experience
  • Use of a CRM to record data
