Main duties of the job
A 9 month fixed term, part time Senior Secretary post has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced secretary to support the Senior Leadership team in Specialist Commissioning Services in the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Division.
The role requires excellent secretarial and communications skills including diary management, email management, use of all Microsoft Office packages, the ability to assess situations, prioritise incoming information, address issues directly and escalate issues to the Senior Leadership Team as appropriate.
You will need the ability to act on your own initiative, to work under pressure, to provide cover for colleagues and maintain a team working approach.
The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to work and the needs of the service and also have sufficient experience as a PA or senior secretary. In return the post-holder will be supported in their role through training and regular supervision.
This post is fixed term for 9 months to meet the needs of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
