to recruit a Scheme Officer at Hyde to work 20 hours a week.

To deliver an effective building & facilities management service across the Sheltered Housing Scheme ensuring that a proactive, effective and customer focused service is provided to Residents and Prospective Residents.

Duties of a Scheme Officer

  • Deliver an excellent scheme based service, taking the lead on responding to resident queries and assisting your line manager to manage any reported cases of ASB, damage to property, breach of lease/ tenancy.
  • Respond promptly to resolve resident queries and complaints at the first point of contact.
  • Accurately update system records in a timely manner and produce grammatically correct system notes, letters and emails following company guidelines on written material
  • Carry out regular building inspections, identifying elements of maintenance required, report repairs and implement works, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety and security
  • Carry out required health and safety functions including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing and complete all fire testing logs. Check and follow up actions from H&S inspections and audits.
  • Demonstrate proficient use of MS Office packages including excel, word and power point and specifically the CRM system in order to manage, maintain, and utilize relevant customer and financial information in an accurate, systematic and efficient manner.
  • Implement the Hyde Group Health and Safety Policy and Procedure, ensuring that all practices and procedures are undertaken in accordance with ensuring a health and safe working environment
  • Property management experience and IT skills would be desirable but not essential.
