Lecturer in Procurement and Logistics  

Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary: Lecturer Point 23-37, £24,060 to £36,299 pro-rata, per annum.

The worldwide supply chain continues to be affected by challenges relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, including delays and disruption. Many senior leaders now identify supply chain turmoil as the greatest threat to their companies’ growth and their countries’ economies. Organisations need to reimagine and manage their supply chain differently to ensure business continuity and growth for the future. 

As such it is an exciting time to be involved with procurement curriculum at the University Centre. From professional qualifications to degree and apprenticeships we are looking to relaunch our procurement curriculum. As such we require you to have the relevant qualifications and industry experience to ensure we offer an outstanding experience to all students. 

MCIPS registered, with a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the sector and experience of delivering CIPS qualifications, you will deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment at undergraduate level across a range of business, procurement and logistics programmes within the School of Business, Commercial and Technology. 

You will be up to date and engaged in current theory, whilst engaged with the profession, perhaps through a combination of current/recent professional experience and engagement with professional bodies. 

Engaging with students using a variety of learning and teaching modes – including face to face and blended learning on full, part time and short courses you will take responsibility for the development and delivery of learning, teaching and assessment across the Procurement and Logistics qualifications and modules delivered within the University Centre.
