Job Title: Receptionist

Hours: Full time – Office Based 8am – 5pm

Contract: Temporary

Salary: £10.50 – £13.00 per hour – plus benefits

Location: Near Wythall

Description:

Working on behalf of a well-established business based in near Wythall, we are recruiting for an experienced Receptionist. This is a varied role based in a busy office, which requires the successful candidate to be highly organised and extremely reliable. Working with a team to manage the reception desk and co-ordinate all office tasks when required.

Key Duties:

  • Manage and co-ordinate all reception tasks
  • Full administrative support – filing, scanning, postal duties, taking deliveries etc
  • Answering phones, taking accurate messages and prioritising calls
  • Secretarial duties – typing, organise the diary, order stationary etc
  • Update and maintain the department’s database – excellent Excel is required
  • Management of Reception switch board
  • Manage and co-ordinate meeting rooms and the schedule diary

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Previous experience using a switchboard is desirable
  • Excellent IT skills in particular Word and Excel
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Flexible approach, willing to cover reception at alternate offices if required
  • Driver with own access to a vehicle
