G04 £19,264-£19,650 pro rata (£9.99 – £10.19 per hour)
TERM TIME ONLY- 20 hours per week
A qualifiedcook is required to cover for staff absences for the school meals cateringservice in Wrexham.
The hours ofwork will be 20 per week. When covering for sickness hours will vary accordingto site target hours.
A full driving licence and business useinsurance cover, and the use of a car is essential. Travelling expenses will bepaid for travel from base kitchen to schools within the area.
The main dutiesof the above post will include:-
1. Manage theservice within the allocated targets set for labour and food costs.
2. Skilledcooking duties and an understanding of healthy cooking practices.
3. Supervisionof other employees, including allocation of duties, work rotas and training.
4. Operation ofa computerised administration system.
5. Supervisionof food service, portion control and food presentation.
6. Associatedclerical duties.
7. Health andSafety legislation.
8. Promotion offood service to customers.
9. Any dutiescommensurate with nature and grade of post.
An Enhanced DBS is required forthis position.
