Main duties of the job

Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft office) is also required as the post holder will also be undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the practices, including some data inputting.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a healthcare setting or a customer service environment but full training can be given to the right candidate.

The post holder will also be expected to work at other health board managed practices in the east area on an adhoc basis to meet service needs and to cover staff absences. This will be discussed at interview.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

Essential criteria

  • Good standard of education GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above, or equivalent
  • RSA / OCR Stage II or equivalent qualification / typing experience
  • NVQ Level 2 Customer Service or Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge & experience, or willing to work towards
  • Desirable criteria

  • ECDL or equivalent
