We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Learning and Teaching to join our Education Department. This post provides an exciting opportunity to join a forward-looking department with a longstanding reputation for excellence.

In the Learning and Teaching area the Department offers a Foundation Degree in Learning and Teaching as well as a BA (Top Up).

The post is suitable for experienced educators with experience in Higher Education Institutions and/or other educational settings. Experience of effective learning and teaching practices in a range of settings and awareness of current developments in the field are also important aspects of the role.

The successful candidate will maintain and enhance the quality of learning and teaching and the student experience at Middlesex University. They will join a committed and highly successful Learning and Teaching team and play a central role in the teaching and management of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. As well as teaching a range of modules related to Learning and Teaching in educational settings, they will be expected to contribute to our programme of professional development in Higher Education.

Working with the community and across the Faculty/ University is also an important part of the role and will involve inviting guests, developing projects and ensuring the curriculum is active and current. The successful candidate for this post will be expected to lead a range of modules and a programme, teach several aspects of practice in Learning and Teaching, and provide support in well-being and professional development.
