The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to join a fast-growing team with huge ambitions. You will build, train, and lead a team of telesales executives. However, lead from the front by actively selling to a selected number of key accounts.

Sales Team Leader

Office based full time – Chelmsford

Salary: competitive

Permanent position

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with the Commercial Director to identify and hire your own team
  • Plan and deliver a regular training schedule to keep the team operating at peak effectiveness
  • Design campaign plans to ensure no opportunity is missed
  • Conduct regular team reviews and 1-to-1 call coaching sessions
  • Maintain accurate reporting documents and report on a weekly, monthly and annual basis to management and the Board of Directors
  • Work closely with the Sponsorship and Exhibition sales team to maximise every opportunity
  • Set team and individual targets
  • Identify new lead sources and work with marketing to generate in-bound flows
  • Liaise with the conference production team to ensure that your delegate team is fully briefed on each event and kept up to date with the programme
  • Manage a defined number of key accounts on each campaign, demonstrating sales leadership and best-practice

Key Skills required:

  • Sales Leadership experience
  • Experience of building a team
  • Willingness to travel and attend conferences, social events, and other meetings
