A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and forward thinking Clinical Pharmacist to join the Mental Health Pharmacy Team in Perth and Kinross. The post-holder will be based across the Community Mental Health Teams across Perth and Kinross and In-Patient services delivered from Murray Royal Hospital providing direct patient facing care and supporting individuals with their mental health. As pathways develop for patients engaging with the Pharmacy Team, there will be opportunities to work cross-boundary to allow the Pharmacist to case-hold patients and follow them through their journey in the Mental Health Service.

The post holder will form part of the Multidisciplinary Team and will develop and evolve the new role within the Community Mental Health Teams with support from the rapidly expanding wider Mental Health Pharmacy Team whilst continuing to develop the established In-Patient Pharmacy services. The post holder should hold or be willing to work towards an independent prescribing qualification and will lead direct patient facing prescribing clinics across the service. The post offers a degree of flexibility across the week in a range of services with a challenging and constantly changing patient population.
