We are working with a FTSE 100 business who are on the lookout for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team and work as part of the infrastructure team with project delivery, maintenance of core systems and infrastructure and act as a technical point of escalation.
The successful candidate will possess a combination of the following experience & skills:
- Must have worked in a 3rd line capacity within a multi-site medium to large scale enterprise.
- A deep and demonstrable understanding of Microsoft products and platforms as well as network fundamentals and Virtualization
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network administration/protocol
- Infrastructure monitoring applications
- Monitoring Tools, SolarWinds SAM, NTA and NPM.
- Cloud technologies, Azure and Office 365 or AWS
- Federated Identity Solutions for cloud/SaaS applications.
- VMware Portfolio of applications.
- Manage, monitor, and maintenance of network equipment, inclusive of WAN/LAN hardware.
- Provide support to junior team members in their day-to-day activities inclusive of project-based tasks.
