The Merchant Hotel have currently got an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our experienced Housekeeping Team.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all areas of the hotel including bedrooms are maintained.

This role will involve:

  • Checking all rooms have been cleaned to a 5* standard
  • Ensure public areas within the hotel are kept to a 5* standard
  • Adhering to all H&S practices
  • motivation of team
  • Overseeing turndown duties
  • The Essential Criteria for this position is:

  • Have 1 years housekeeping experience
  • Have at least 6 months experience in a supervisory role
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Be a good team player
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Be keen to work hard
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desirable Criteria :

  • At least 1 years housekeeping experience within a 4/5 star setting.
  • The Candidate must be fully flexible in their hours of work as it will involve both weekends and evenings and they will vary to meet the needs of the business.
