The Data Analytics Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting the Business Intelligence solutions of the Government Property Agency.

Responsible for collection, aggregation and analysis of data from multiple sources to provide reporting and interactive visualisation for functional management and decision – making users.

Description

  • The Data Analytics Developer (Within GPA known as a performance analyst) will focus on the internal customer, and form the connection between the business need and Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Responsible for engaging with business areas to determine their requirements, and utilising that information to produce analysis and inform decisions.
  • Collaborating closely with Data Engineers, discussing solutions and troubleshooting data.
  • Manage and drive the development of information processing and reporting primarily using Microsoft Power Platform (BI, AWS QuickSight, Power Apps, Excel, SSRS, SQL server etc) and other applicable tools
  • Design, develop, deliver, and maintain meaningful and sustainable reports and visualisations for business users
  • Work closely with internal functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure information integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Participate with Business Systems, Finance and other internal teams to review, analyse, implement and document business processes.
  • Ensuring high quality documentation is created and maintained to reference the data logic and transformation undertaken.
  • Proactively sharing new ideas and innovative solutions to enhance the Business Intelligence process and service offering

  • Ability to manage multiple-priorities.
  • Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science or other related degrees or up to 3 years of college or technical school
  • Reporting Tools, Power BI/Tableau (advanced level).
  • AWS Quicksight/Data Warehouse (advantageous).
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analysis Services (advantageous).
  • Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft BI product stack (SSIS, SSMS, and SSRS).
