: Full time OR Part time

Location: On-site in Cambridge

The role is predominantly IT/AV support to the Institute, to record and publish workshop seminars, and also provide front-line IT support to visiting participants, students staff and academics

Key responsibilities:

– AV Perform video capture and archiving of workshop seminars and accompanying materials, using the recording equipment

– Video Conferencing Set up and provide technical support to users (internal and external) who wish to use video conferencing facilities in INI seminar rooms and meeting rooms

– Perform first line desktop support duties to staff, visiting researchers and academic

– Perform a share of the procurement, installation, configuration, decommissioning and disposal of desktop hardware

Experience:

– Experience with at least two operating systems

– Familiarity with video and audio recording and a good understanding of web technologies

– Some knowledge of computing programming and/or Scripting.

– Familiarity with a range of PC and Unix software and operating systems

– Knowledge and understanding of webcasting technology and protocols
