Role Purpose

We’re looking for a Billings Manager to join us in supporting the business to reduced unbilled and aged debt and helping the channel and client teams to ensure accurate bookings are sent to bill promptly. You’ll work with the teams making bookings to ensure that the reconciliation process has taken place on each client before the Digital billing deadline and take ownership of the accuracy of invoices going out to clients by the monthly deadline/s.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the query management process for Suppliers & Client invoices, analysing and identifying the cause of it & devising a plan for resolution
  • Ensuring we deliver accurate invoices to all of the client base and investigating why any bookings go onto the system late / inaccurately
  • Identifying the causes of any invoice queries (supplier and client side) and finding efficient solutions for resolving these.
  • Delivering accuracy for their client/s and taking ownership for delivering against some key metrics i.e., current aged debt & unbilled, minimal late bookings a month, plus others
  • Utilising the Media Ocean system and ensuring that the wider team are trained, and they all collectively share their knowledge.

Person Specification

  • Strong knowledge of systems – Media Ocean/Prisma/MS Excel – including Vlookups, Pivot Tables etc.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced centralised team, working to tight deadlines
  • A proven track record in unbilled and debt resolution, problem solving, and solution focused
  • Highly skilled in problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach: ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, able to influence and inform senior stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and work efficiently including managing/developing a small team
