My client has an exciting new opportunity within the Finance Department as a Tax Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company is complying with all aspects of legislation affecting HM Revenue and Customs
As Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to other companies with Europe about corporation tax planning.

If you have strong experience as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor (or have corporate tax experience) with international transfer pricing experience then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of annual corporation tax computations, CT600 returns and supporting schedules for UK all companies and branches.
  • Advise and give recommendations regarding corporation tax issues affecting the company
  • Assisting with VAT strategies and delivering transfer pricing strategy
  • Ensure the company is compliant with all aspects of prevailing transfer pricing legislation and practices.
  • Manage completion and submission of European Transfer pricing documentation
  • Co-ordinate company compliance audits from HM Revenue and Customs in respect of VAT.
  • Liaise with the Director to ensure corporate compliance in regards to prevailing VAT legislation.
  • Co-ordinate company compliance audits from HM Revenue and Customs in respect of customs duty.
  • Liaise with the Director and Logistics Manager to ensure compliance with all aspects of prevailing customs duty legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with all UK requirements

Person Specification:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CTA Qualified?
  • Cooperation tax experience is desirable
  • Must be able to navigate complex taxation legislation
  • Must have experience in Transfer Pricing ?
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.?
  • Flexible attitude with the ability of working to strict deadlines.?
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment. ?
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
