Nurse Practitioner – Leeds

We’re currently looking for someone to fill the role of an Advance Clinical Practitioner, where you would be working for a progressive GP surgery who want to expand their clinical team. The surgery is considering both full time or part time applicants, and are open on the surrounding package and salary. Will you be the ACP they need!

This GP surgery has a great reputation with great CQC ratings, and they need your help! The surgery is looking to expand their nursing team, either through a candidate who is looking for full time or part time work. The GP surgery are offering the role with flexibility , with the choice to negotiate shift patterns and length, there will also be potential for remote work.

The Surgery is open from 8am-6:30pm, only during weekdays, meaning the role will have to be filled within these days. There is currently a large patient list, 12,500, with the patient demographic being mainly white, British.

There is a competitive salary, this package on offer falls within band 8, so £48,000-£53,000 (FTE) this also depends on skills and experience. The salary can be negotiated, this depends on autonomy and also what you can bring to the surgery! Within the package you will receive 6 weeks annual leave , with the inclusion of bank holidays also. More additional benefits include NHS pension, all benefits can be negotiated within the interview process.

Candidates will be required to registered to NMC, GPhC or HCPC, and ideally have General Practice experience.

The candidate will be required to see patients face to face as well as talking seeing to the patients over the phone regarding General & Minor illnesses, Acute Concerns and Chronic Diseases. There will not be a requirement for home visits as they have a team of Community Matrons that handle the visits day to day. The team is very supportive and diverse, currently being in a strong position, due to high demand they are requiring a new member of staff. The team is comprised of 7 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 5 Nurses and 2 HCAs. The surgery is training practice, so they are more than happy for the candidate to pursue or develop in any clinical area desired.
