Contingent Hire Onboarding Manager

 

The Contingent Hire Team, with support of our supply chain, meet demand from across our multi-disciplinary firm. We are evolving and have created a new role for someone to join the team as we embark on the next stage of our journey.

 

The Contingent Hire Team Onboarding Manager, will take a responsibility in creating operational efficiency throughout the PES, onboarding and customer journey for KPMG, leading our contingent hire onboarding team to deliver an efficient, positive experience.

The role supports the Head of Contingent Hire in the delivery of key strategic projects to meet the changing needs of KPMG.

Deliverables and Accountability:

 

Operational Control:

  • Line Manage the Contingent Hire Team, responsible for operational delivery of the contingent hire onboarding process and maintenance of controls
  • Allocate tasks across the Contingent Hire Team, promoting ownership and SME knowledge
  • Manage the Contingent Hire Recruitment Processes
  • Work with Contingent Hire Team management to identify, record and resolve process defects
  • Develop and provide training to Contingent Hire Team
  • Work with supply chain provider(s) to ensure the screening and onboarding of contractors is delivered within SLA and breaches are recorded, understood and resolved
  • Work with the business and key stakeholders to record and resolve escalations regarding onboarding and ongoing contractor management
  • Maintain Issue Logs
  • Work closely with Contingent Hire Team management to ensure the team are equipped to correctly meet changing business demand, delivering positive outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with wider KBS community, People teams and supply chain partners
  • Technology and Onboarding:

  • Accountable for the operational use of the ATS, screening and onboarding technology
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to identify systems process improvement
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to roll out enhanced procedures and processes tailored to a seamless onboarding journey
  •  

    Relationship Management:

  • Business owner for the day to day management of the relationships with all parties involved in the PES an onboarding process, inc. our screening and payroll provider, internal E&I team and IT
  • Acting as a go to contact for business queries and issues and resolve issues / escalations regarding PES, screening and onboarding
  •  

    The Person

  • Demonstrable understanding the end to end process of contingent hiring with a focus upon PES and onboarding
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Experience of contingent workforce technology, recruitment systems and proficient Excel skills
  • Collaborative team player driving inclusion, leads by example, seeks continuous improvement from self
  • Business Analysis, specifically linked to PES and onboarding
  • Understanding of professional services and commercial drivers for success
  • Understands and champions the importance of efficient processes
  • Successfully managing a diverse group of stakeholders often with conflicting requirements
