About the role

We are now recruiting for a Head of Repairs Operations on a full time and permanent basis. This role will report directly to the Director or Repairs & Maintenance and is part of the Senior Management Team.

You will have responsibility for the delivery of repairs and improvement works across GreenSquareAccord`s operating geography; including the responsive repairs, voids, and cyclical and planned works, through our in-house team (DLO) and all associated sub-contractors.

As the Head of Repairs Operations, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a cost efficient and customer focused repair and maintenance service to GreenSquareAccord`s customers, this will be delivered by ensuring a highly skilled and engaged field-based workforce.

You will effectively manage all aspects of the maintenance and repairs budget, monitor and report all areas of expenditure, contain expenditure within the agreed budget and comply with standing orders. It is key that you ensure continuous improvement particularly in terms of value for money, productivity and customer satisfaction.

About you

You are required to have a professional qualification in a building, construction or asset management related field and a recognised higher level Health and Safety Qualification i.e. NEBOSH/CSCS.

It is essential that you can demonstrate excellent commercial awareness and management; with practical experience of leading and managing a large team technical staff throughout the team.

You should have the ability to extract, interpret and present financial and statistical performance data to inform service development and improvement; also the ability to identify trends and develop service improvements.
