Data and Analytics is an important horizontal function across Equities and Markets Technology within CIB, responsible for providing state of the art data services, infrastructure and high performance analytics framework across business lines. This global team works closely with Trading Desks and Quantitative Research to help them in predictive analysis and intelligent decision making, recommend cost saving opportunities and drive business profits.

We are looking for a project manager / Agile lead to join our Data & Analytics Portfolio Governance team who can help define and document future vision and strategy, and drive execution on large scale, transformative, mission critical products and capabilities that are revolutionizing the way businesses extract value from their data.

You will utilize your past technology project manager experience to define and implement innovative changes to our delivery and execution processes, help the team to successfully deploy cloud-native data services and efficiently communicating delivery progress towards key stakeholders. You will also benefit from your past Agile/Scrum experience to drive the transformation of this organization.

You are an established change leader who will drive the efforts to formulate future strategy, execute overall change agenda and work closely with the Data & Analytics leadership team and the broader organization of around 150 high-performing engineers to align them towards common goals and practices.

You will work in close partnership and collaboration with global colleagues throughout the firm, and help in achieving business objectives efficiently.

As a project manager, you are passionate about delivering innovative and transformational technology platform and services to business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as project manager on selected, strategic projects
  • Establish overall governance, continued monitoring of execution and transparent status reporting on quarterly deliverables
  • Ensure efficiently communication with key business side stakeholders
  • Drive and execute on the Agile transformation agenda

    • Key Skills/Qualifications:

  • Engineering or economic degree from a reputed university/college
  • 8+ years of overall work experience in Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodology (Scrum master certificate is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication skills both oral and written, ability to translate between technology and business
  • Extensive business stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to deal with and navigate difficult situations and un-certainties through strong teamwork and a focus on resolution
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment within a geographically distributed, diverse and inclusive team
  • Results-oriented, technically curious, pro-active and versatile

    • Additional skills that are considered as huge advantage:

  • Knowledge and past work experience with data / time series data
  • Familiarity and prior experience on KDB+/q based applications and framework
  • Expertise in project managing data store/service moving on public cloud
