Calibre Search are delighted to working alongside one of the UK’s leading and biggest land and property developers now looking to bring in a Project Surveyor based in Manchester.

With the role will be 50/50 split of being out on various sites and office/home based, you will be working closely with the Regional Director of Project Management & Director of land and acquisition services offering a full spectrum of pre and post contract services as you help deliver on some of biggest landmark master planning developments across the region.

They’re happy to consider project managers or quantity surveyors ideally from a consultancy background who are used to working client side and through the design RIBA phases. MRICS or MCIOB qualified would be beneficial but they are also happy to also consider those working towards such qualifications.

Very much a unique position for anyone wanting to work more client/development side as you will be exposed to some of largest and most influential sites which are truly changing the landscape on a master planning scale.     • Duties:

    Client-side Project and Commercial Management for the delivery of infrastructure and remediation to enable residential, educational, industrial and commercial building projects covering:

  • Budget establishment, control and cashflow management
  • Production of phased delivery strategies (alongside the Development Manager) contract strategy and management of procurement processes
  • Pre & post contract services – Any Employers Agent knowledge would be beneficial
  • Design team procurement and management
  • Create and maintain Client programme and cost budgets.
  • identify key regulatory / external approval requirements, constraints and risks associated with project delivery
