Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £10.03 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-16:00 (30 minute break)
Temporary – Permanent
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure that set daily targets are achieved for packing, quality and cost
- To pack products to customer specification
- To ensure all department products are packed to the highest quality standards
- To ensure high safety standard are being practiced in the section
- To maintain a clean and tidy section
- To ensure all products ae available to meet production schedules
- All working procedures must be adhered to
- To adhere to start and finish times
- Ability to identify hazards
- Heavy lifting and packing of items into 20kg bags
- Use of Reach Truck within the warehouse
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working in a manual job would be beneficial but not essential
- Physically fit and strong
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Reliable, trustworthy and a willingness to work
- Reach truck licence / experience would be advantageous
