Due to increased demand, Driver Hire Dundee are recruiting for LGV 1 Drivers for distance work. You will be working with a local manufacturing company, driving a curtainsider across the UK carrying out time sensitive deliveries. Your vehicle will be loaded and unloaded by forklift, so you will not need to interact with the load at any point.

This is distance work and will involve 2-4 nights away from home per week, where you will stay in the vehicle. You will be paid a night out allowance of £26.20 for each night away from home.

The successful HGV 1 driver will need:

  • Category CE entitlement on their UK driving licence
  • Valid Drivers CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph

  • Basic rate of £14.01 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours at £17.37 per hour Pay rates are PAYE inclusive of Holiday Pay
  • Weekly paid
  • Shifts available Monday to Saturday
