Are you a Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you enjoy making a difference on a daily basis, and inspiring children? This school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a proven track record of supporting children with a range of needs. With small classes and a great team in place, this role is ideal for a TA who enjoys working as part of a team. The school caters for children with challenging behaviour and additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant you will be given great support from the team and enjoy working in a busy and exciting environment.

Job Role:

  • Working with small groups of students
  • Working with a range of SEND children
  • Providing support to teaching staff when needed
  • Building rapport and trust with students
  • Leading on fun classroom activities
  • Ideally, you will:

  • Have experience working as a Learning Mentor or Teaching Assistant
  • Have worked with Special Educational Needs
  • Be able to break down barriers to communication
  • Have a calm, patient and positive approach
  • Be able to challenge students when required
