We are currently recruiting for a Public Health Administrator to work within Higher Education based near Paddington Station. Hybrid model, hours 9-5pm Monday – Friday. Start 5th August for 3-6 months. Pay £18.60ph
To work with and assist the Deputy School Manager in delivering comprehensive high-level administrative support to the School of Public Health. The post holder will work closely with the School administrative team to provide support and to ensure the smooth running of the School Office across all areas of the School’s activities. The post will involve considerable liaison with academic and administrative staff across the School, as well as other staff across the College.
To support the Opportunities Committee Co-chairs and Deputy School Manager in developing, implementing and reviewing processes. To service and assist the School’s Opportunities Committee, preparing agenda papers, taking minutes and ensuring actions and initiatives are followed up.
Assisting with internal and external communications/marketing
To take responsibility for School of Public Health (SPH) Committee meetings as requested. This includes planning the Committees, formulating agendas, collating and circulating papers, producing accurate minutes and following up actions points.
Skills
Essential
Excellent organisational skills, good time management and ability to work to deadline
Meticulous and well-structured administration skills
Ability to produce accurate minutes
A high level of accuracy and consistent attention to detail
Ability to use initiative, work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach
Proven expertise in the use of spreadsheet programmes, preferably Microsoft Excel
Good computer skills, including experience of using the internet and e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access and/or other database packages
Ability to communicate well with people at all levels and develop effective working relationships
