Stock Inventory Administrator

Our established energy client is looking for an excellent administrator to join their small and friendly team in their Hooton Offices.

Pay: £11.54ph – £12.50ph

Hours and Duration: Temporary up to 12 month maternity cover contract 40 hours per week to be fulfilled between 8am & 6pm Monday to Friday.

  • The hiring manager is also flexible around school pick up and drop off times.
  • Hybrid role working at home on Monday and Friday and then in the office for the rest of the week.
  • Sage experience is desired but not essential as training will be given in the handover period with the staff member leaving on maternity, however experience at using Excel to a high degree is essential.

    Day to Day tasks include:

  • Working closely with the Stock Controller you will be responsible for maintaining a true reflection of real time stock on Sage compared to the actual physical counts.
  • Supporting the Purchase Ledger, you will ensure all purchase orders are verified and receipted in a timely manner to enable processing of invoices.
  • Using excel to an immediate level to input data
  • Ensuring that attention to detail is maintained – accuracy is key here.
  • Main responsibilities of the role :

  • Issue release numbers to planners.
  • Maintain accurate records of the collected and delivered weights against the correct release number/sales order numbers.
  • Manage the stock control email inbox.
  • Record accurate fibre processing transactions on Sage
  • Support Purchase and Sales Ledger with details of collected and delivered weights.
  • Support the Senior Stock Analyst with the reconciliation of stock
  • Verify & receipt purchase orders for stock, goods and services relating to all stock movements.

  • An understanding of stock inventory records
  • Can demonstrate relevant experience in a similar position (stock control/warehouse admin).
  • ERP systems knowledge – previous experience using Sage would be beneficial but not essential
  • Good computer literacy – proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability of high volume / accurate record keeping.
