Robert Half have now partnered with a large publishing group based in Bristol City Centre to recruit an interim Credit Controller until the new year.

This organisation are huge believers in trust and hybrid working – they would support working fully remotely. (We can courier IT equipment to your home)

They require someone to come on board immediately.

Pay rate: £12 – 15 per hour (+ holiday pay)

Duration: 4-6 months

You will report directly into the Credit Control manager and your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving incoming cash either by cheque or BACS, and processes cash onto the system
  • Monitors overdue payments by use of the Sales Ledger
  • Chase payments via phone, fax and email
  • Putting accounts on stop
  • Works with a minimum of supervision on collection of overdue customer accounts and national/key account
  • Maintains accurate and up to date customer details and account records
  • Makes adjustments, handles queries and resolves problems within company guidelines and policy
  • Handles disputed accounts and negotiates to bring payment into line with terms
  • Ad hoc administrative duties
